Guam

Guam, or Guahan in native Chamorro, is a small US territory located in Western Pacific. It boasts of rich historical cultures influenced by the people who invaded mostly the Pacific islands beginning from 16th century. Today, it is home to some US military bases, tropical fauna and flora, and of course, big time malls and hotels. Armed with a map and some tips from friends, I went downtown all by myself to discover this quiet but exciting island.
